The 3 Types of Intelligence

MOMA artist & entrepreneur Paul Budnitz on the future of NFTs, the “Creator Brain”, & how to stoke risk-taking

By Elizabeth Weil, Managing Partner, Scribble VC

“The way many artists and brands are treating NFT’s is a giant mistake and isn’t sustainable”, says Paul Budnitz.

To glimpse the future of NFTs and the creator space, there are few people more visionary than Paul Budnitz. He is the definition of “polymath” — the son of a nuclear physicist and a social worker, an artist with over a dozen works in a permanent collection at the MOMA, an award-winning filmmaker, author of four books, KidRobot creator who launched the designer toy movement in the U.S. & Europe, and now the Founder/CEO of Superplastic, the world’s first talent agency for animated synthetic celebrities, including international influencers Janky & Guggimon.

Superplastic is one of the most inventive consumer startups today. They’ve created the world’s highest-grossing virtual artist of all time, amassing millions of followers by leveraging social media, NFTs, and cryptocurrency.

So what does Budnitz see in the future for NFTs?

And what does he know about the “Creator Brain” that gives the Superplastic team an edge in the creative, NFT, and crypto space?
