Annelies believed in mPharma when most investors didn't.

She was always ready to jump on a call and advocate for us. Beyond investing, she made it her priority to help mPharma get visibility.

She is more than an investor to me, she is a friend.

Greg Rockson @ mPharma

Annelies’ analytical background, investment experience, competitive drive and empathy make her an ideal partner for portfolio companies as they bob and weave through the challenges of gaining and building traction. She is eager to roll up her sleeves to help founders at the earliest stages think through KPIs, fundraising, forecasting, customer and talent introductions and more.

As the first female on the investment team of Western Technology Investment (WTI) in the firm’s 40-year history, Annelies sourced and co-led investments in Kobo360, as the first institutional investor, mPharma, Klar, WeFarm, Terminal, and Pando Pooling, among others.  Before WTI, she was at Dropbox where she helped launch Product Analytics, a foundational team focused on the quantitative side of product development. She began her career investment banking at Barclays.

Annelies graduated from Yale University with a BA in Political Science, where she was President of the Yale Entrepreneurial Society. She was also a three-season varsity track and cross country athlete and broke numerous state and college records. She was selected for  Forbes' 30 Under 30 Venture Capital, and currently serves on the board of the Forbes Under 30 Community.
